  • This position will work across departments, planning and executing quality assurance, measurement, and audit functions to ensure that deliveries are made as specified in requirements and that 9mobile’s Quality standards are followed on projects, products, and other deliveries within the IT organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES || Manager, Build to Operate (B2O) At 9mobile

Tactical:

  • Keep up to date on global and regional best practices for solution delivery, software testing, customer experience management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously review the project, BAU, and product development end-to-end processes from concept to delivery to solution/product retirement, make improvement recommendations, and implement approved initiatives to improve business efficiency and customer experience.
  • Ensure that delivery meets industry-recognized quality standards.
  • Maintain relationships with important internal and external stakeholders.

Operational:

  • Supervise end-to-end solution delivery processes and ensure the quality of delivered requirements leveraging the various testing layers (SIT, Performance, E2E, UAT) while maintaining enough logs of encountered issues for continual development.
  • Monitor the product road map and evaluate concepts in relation to the customer journey map in order to match customer experience practices with product design and development.
  • Ensure that, as part of the Quality Assurance process, customer experience criteria are recorded and confirmed during product implementation.
  • In charge of PQA for strategic initiatives.
  • Process frameworks, templates, checklists, papers, and performance should be administered.
  • Assist the head of quality assurance in the development, ongoing evaluation, and execution of the quality framework, policies, and procedures for the project.
  • Responsible for the transfer of solutions from delivery to post-delivery management in order to preserve solution quality.

  • Work with program stakeholders throughout IT to publish delivery change documentation that meets quality expectations.
  • Communicate with change managers to ensure that key stakeholders and user communities are engaged and appropriately informed prior to change deployments in order to proactively avoid problems after go-live.
  • Engage release leaders, developers, and technical teams in the creation, testing, and staging of production deployments for all approved modifications.
  • Identify, influence, and direct the execution of best practice initiatives that add to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team as a whole.
  • Assist the Head of Quality Assurance in translating the IT Governance and Quality strategy and plans into specific improvement programs and projects.
  • As required, attend team/department meetings and drive actions to completion.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the QA Director.

QUALIFICATION || Manager, Build to Operate (B2O) At 9mobile

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum of Six years (6) relevant experience in Quality Management/Assurance Role in IT /Telecom industry.
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Management or a related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices.

Certification and advanced knowledge of at least two of the standards:

  • Services ITIL ISO2000, Software ISO/IEC12207-2008, ISEB
  • PMP/Prince 2.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project, MS Office
  • Oracle Database: SQL Fundamentals
  • ISTQB/ISEB Certified Tester Intermediate Level (CTFL), BCS
  • ISTQB/ISEB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), BCS
  • ISO 9001:2015.
