According to those documents, Heard’s legal team claimed in pre-trial papers that she had financial losses as a result of Depp’s defamatory remarks against her in the “$47-50 million” range over a “3-5 year period.”

According to Heard’s team, she was “similar” to performers like Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Zendaya, Ana de Armas, and Chris Pine.

Heard walked away from “tens of millions of dollars” by refusing to accept the money Depp made from the fifth “Pirates of the Caribbean” film, according to other newly-unsealed court documents.

Depp earned $33 million from the fourth “Pirates” movie, according to The Daily Beast, so he probably earned the same amount or even more on the fifth one. Heard refused to accept the money during her divorce proceedings, and as a result, the defamation trial did not allow any of the divorce-related evidence to be used.

Other Inflammatory Reveals

Additional evidence from the leaked documents, according to The Daily Beast, reveals that Depp’s legal team attempted to have Marilyn Manson’s name omitted from the defamation trial. According to the team, a “guilt by association argument” would “smear Mr. Depp under references to and facts involving Marilyn Manson.”.

Depp’s team reportedly planned to bring up and use against Heard a number of “irrelevant personal matters,” which Heard’s team urged the judge to dismiss.

Heard’s team claimed that Mr. Depp “inappropriately seeks to introduce evidence” that included “(1) nude pictures of Amber Heard; (2) Amber Heard’s sister Whitney’s reality show video; (3) Whitney and Amber’s past romantic relationships; (4) Amber’s brief stint as an exotic dancer years before she met Mr. Depp and Mr. Depp trying to get Amber to admit to being in a relationship with Whitney.”
