The Commonwealth Masters Scholarship and Commonwealth PhD Scholarship are offered to attend postgraduate degree programs in almost all academic disciplines and majors. The costs of studying for free in the UK are completely covered by the Commonwealth UK Scholarship. The scholarship’s 36-month term is its duration.

Commonwealth Scholarships are grants provided to residents of low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations to help them acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable development. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA || Commonwealth Graduate Scholarships  (2023)

To be considered for the Commonwealth Graduate Scholarships for Postgraduate Students 2023, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of one of the eligible country listed above..
• Those who have completed their 4 Year Bachelor Degree or those who have completed 2 Year Bachelors and 2 Year Masters are eligible to apply for the Commonwealth UK Scholarship.
• Not be registered for a PhD, or an MPhil leading to a PhD, at a UK university before September 2023
• By September 2023, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard, or a second class degree and relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
• Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT || Commonwealth Graduate Scholarships  (2023)

Commonwealth Graduate Scholarships For International Students 2023 provides the recipient with the following benefits:

• Full tuition fees.
• Approved Round Airfare Tickets from your home country to the UK and return at the end of your award.
• Stipend (living allowance) at the rate of £1,236 per month, or £1,560 per month for those at universities in the London metropolitan area.
• Warm clothing allowance, where applicable
• Thesis grant towards the cost of preparing a thesis or dissertation, where applicable
• Study travel grant towards the cost of study-related travel within the UK or overseas.
