The Scripps Howard Foundation is the corporate foundation of the E. W. Scripps Company, an American media conglomerate which owns newspapers, television stations, cable television networks, and other media outlets.
The goal of the foundation, according to its website, is “to advance the cause of a free press through support of excellence in journalism, quality journalism education and professional development.” It is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, home to the Scripps Company.
REQUIREMENTS|| Scripps Howard Fellowship Young Students & Graduates (2022)
To be considered for the fellowship, you must:
- Applicant must have completed Bachelor’s Degree by June 1, 2022;
- No more than 5 years of professional experience in journalism;
- Able to work from June 1, 2022 through May 26, 2023;
- Have an online portfolio;
- A passion for journalism and a desire to build your leadership skills.
REWARD|| Scripps Howard Fellowship Young Students & Graduates (2022)
- The fellowship runs for one year beginning in June, 2022. It pays $50,000 and includes full benefits.
