In order to prepare for the World Cup in Qatar, the Brazilian soccer association said on Friday that the national team will play Ghana and Tunisia in September.

Players would be competing to earn a position on the 26-man roster that would compete in the event.

The matches will take place on September 23 and 27 at as-yet-unnamed venues in Europe, according to the Brazilian federation’s website.

On September 9, it was revealed that Head Coach Tite would reveal his shortlist for the friendly games.

Brazil leads FIFA’s world ranking and is among the favorites to win the World Cup, which will be played in Qatar from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18.

Tite told Reuters last month he was excited by the rise of young players who surged to stardom last season and will be available for the national team in Qatar, easing the pressure on Paris St-Germain superstar Neymar.

Looking to win a record-extending sixth World Cup, Brazil is drawn to play Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon in Group G, debuting on Nov. 24.

Ghana will meet South Korea, Portugal, and Uruguay in Group H and could face Brazil in a potential round of 16 matches. Tunisia will be part of Group D, playing Australia, Denmark, and reigning world champions France.
