Emir Of Kano Leaves For Morocco On Official Visit

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano, has embarked on a week-long official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.

The visit is on King Mohammed VI’s invitation, according to a statement released by the Emir’s Palace on Monday.

The Emir will hold a number of official engagements with Moroccan authorities during his visit. Including discussions with business leaders and religious leaders, according to the statement.

The statement said,

“Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and his entourage will also visit several Moroccan major cities,

such as Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and the holy city of Fes among others.

“The visit will culminate with a courtesy call on King Mohammed VI, by the Emir who is expected back in Nigeria early next week.’’

According to the statement, those on the Emir’s entourage include Alhaji Ahmed Ado Bayero, Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida and the District Head of Kumbotso, Ambassador Ahmed Umar.

Others are Dan Malikin Kano, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matawalle, Talban Kano, Alhaji Magaji Galadima, Kachallan Kano, and a group of distinguished businessmen from within and outside the Kano Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture.
