The Federal Government on Friday announced the release of the list of admissions into the 110 Federal Government Colleges otherwise known as Unity Schools located across the country, including the Gifted Academy in Suleja.

A statement signed by the Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Education, Benjamin Bem Goong, asked parents of pupils who applied for admission into any of the Unity Colleges to check for the names of their wards on the Ministry’s websites; www.education.gov.ng or at the school they applied.

The statement added that limited vacancies were in some Unity Colleges and admission is ongoing in schools where such vacancies still exist.

Few weeks ago, the Federal Ministry of Education, released the criteria for admission into Unity Colleges, with a reconfirmation that it will strictly abide by the established criteria for admission.

The government said that 60 percent of the admission would be based on national merit, 30 percent would be on equality of states and 10 percent will be on exigency.
