HOW TO ADD APPLE STORE AND ITUNES PASS TO IPHONE WALLET

Here’s how to add the App Store & iTunes Pass to the Wallet app on your iPhone:

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, then tap your account profile image in the top-right corner.

2. Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.

3. Under the iTunes Pass, tap Get Started.

4. Enter your Apple ID password, then tap OK.

5. Tap Add iTunes Pass to Wallet.

   Note: The App Store & iTunes Pass is completely different from an iTunes Season Pass, which simply gives you access to all episodes in a TV show’s season in iTunes.

6. Tap Add.

7. Tap Done. The App Store & iTunes Pass now appears within the Wallet app.

HOW TO ADD MONEY TO GIFT CARD WALLET IN APPLE STORE

With your digital App Store & iTunes Pass created, you can now use the iPhone Wallet app to add funds to your iTunes or App Store account the next time you go to a physical Apple Store. This method is really useful if you like to pay for things with cash and don’t want to load credit onto your account by making an online or digital payment.

1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Tap the App Store & iTunes card within the Wallet app. This opens your App Store & iTunes Pass and displays its unique QR code.

   Note: This QR code is unique to your account. If you want to add funds to someone else’s account, you need to see their App Store & iTunes Pass.

3. Show your phone with the App Store & iTunes Pass displayed to an Apple Store employee and let them know how much you want to add to your account.

4. You now need to pay the employee the chosen amount. They will scan the QR code on your App Store & iTunes Pass in the Wallet app. The amount is added to your App Store & iTunes Pass balance almost immediately after the transaction is completed.

HOW TO ADD ITUNES GIFT CARD TO WALLET

While you can’t use the Wallet app itself to redeem an iTunes, Apple Music, or App Store gift card, you can view your account balance within the App Store & iTunes Pass. Here’s how to redeem your Apple gift card on an iPhone and use its balance in the Wallet app.

1. Remove your iTunes or App Store gift card from its packaging.

   Note: If you have a digital code, skip to Step 4.

2. Turn the gift card over so you can see its back.

3. Carefully remove the gray film along the top of the card to reveal its unique code.

   Note: Never buy an Apple Music gift card or Apple iTunes gift card that already has this film removed. This means someone may have already redeemed it in-store and added its credit to an Apple account.

4. Unlock your iPhone and open the App Store app.

5. Tap your account profile image > Redeem Gift Card or Code > Use Camera.

6. Position your gift card in front of the camera so it can read the code.

7. The card registers immediately and the credit is added to your account balance.

8. You can now view your added gift card balance within the Wallet app on the App Store & iTunes Pass.
