STEP 2: Re-register the Action Center

Tap the search icon placed on the Taskbar, type “Windows PowerShell” and then select the “Run as Administrator” option.

STEP 3: Enable the Connected Devices Platform Service

Another solution to the “Quick settings not working” problem on Windows 11 has arrived.

To open the Run dialogue box, press the Windows + R key combination. In the textbox, type “Services.msc” and press Enter.

Scroll through the list of Windows services and look for “Connected Devices Platform Service”. Double-tap on it to open Properties.

STEP 4: Edit the Registry

STEP 5: Run the SFC Scan

The built-in Windows program System File Checker scans and repairs faulty system files and settings. It scans your device thoroughly for corrupt system files and replaces them with a cached copy. To utilize the SFC program on Windows 11, follow these steps:

To launch the software in admin mode, press the search button on the Taskbar, type “Command Prompt,” and then select the “Run as Administrator” option.

In the Command Line window, type the following command and then hit Enter to execute it:

Wait for a few minutes until the command is executed. Once the command is executed, reboot your device and launch the Quick Settings panel to check if you’re still experiencing any issues.

 

STEP 6: Update Windows
