1. Job Title: Logistics and Protocol Officer | Lagos Business School (LBS)  

 

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

JOB DESCRIPTION || Lagos Business School Job Vacancies

  • The position holder is responsible for managing routine administrative and support services for the smooth running of the office.
  • The role holder will provide excellent logistics and protocol services for the School and ensure that resources are efficiently optimized and administrative operational costs are reduced.

 

JOB ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES || Lagos Business School Job Vacancies

They include but are not limited tthe following:

  • Implement and manage an effective system for transport and logistics in the School. Ensure efficient use of drivers and pool vehicles. Responsible for arranging airport pick-ups, processing of vehicle papers, toll gate, overtime, and per diem. Keeping and updating required records and reports.
  • Suggest new vendors while managing existing relationships with service providers tensure uninterrupted services delivery and value for money (e.g. Courier agencies; Car service and rental stations, etc).
  • Responsible for the supervision of drivers and any other staff that may be assigned tthe unit.
  • Develop and implement proposals for service improvement. Track car millage and monitoring costs (keep vehicle maintenance log).
  • Provide periodic budget spending reports and other reports on request.
  • Responsible for ensuring all the school’s vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Monitor the activities of the mailing unit tensure full compliance with procedures and processes.
  • Provide liaison for processing of visas and travel documents for staff on official trips.
  • Responsible for the processing of flight tickets in line with policy.
  • Responsible for processing payments and follow-up with Accounts on all payments.
  • Any other relevant duty that will be assigned by the line manager from time time.

QUALIFICATIONS/ ELIGIBILITY || Lagos Business School Job Vacancies

  • Minimum of a University Degree or its equivalent in any related field
  • Professional certification in a related field will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ administrative/logistics experience in managing service providers and travel desks will be an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION || Lagos Business School Job Vacancies

  • The position holder is responsible to provide support to the MBA Careers & Placements Manager in executing the MBA Career Development Programme which should result in internship placement of all first-year MBA (full-time) students in reputable companies as well as job placement of second-year students.
  • Also, the role holder will provide support in executing the Modular and Executive MBA Career Development Programme.

 

JOB ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES || Lagos Business School Job Vacancies

They include but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate careers office events under the supervision of MBA Careers / Placement Manager:
    • MBA, MMBA, EMBA and MEMBA careers on and off-campus events
    • Career and entrepreneurship development sessions
    • Inter-cohort team bonding sessions
    • Alumni networking sessions.
  • On-campus / online job / internship placement interviews
  • Organise relevant activities to prepare and boost opportunities for students for careers/entrepreneurship
  • |Organise the MBA career fair
  • Organise mentoring programme across all MBA cohorts (Plan, source, match, and track alumni mentors to the different MBA categories- MBA, MMBA, EMBA & MEMBA)
  • Research activities: annual impact survey, salary survey etc.
  • Manage database of potential employers and students
  • Manage students’ database and events’ database
  • Ensure proper filing of documents and record-keeping
  • Provide interested organisations with information about the internship programme
  • Participate in the preparation of Career Services’ programmes
  • Conduct mock interview sessions
  • Collate internship documents pre and post grading by supervisors
  • Any other duty to be assigned from time to time by the line manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ ELIGIBILITY || Lagos Business School Job Vacancies

 

  • A good First Degree / HND in the field of Social Science.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years in administrative / HR function as well as events management and research.
